It may sting when realizing that some type of road hazard or abrasive occurrence has left behind a notable stain or defect in your vehicle’s paint work. But breathe easy, as these discrepancies are all fixable here at Elevated Auto Protection in Denver, Colorado!
Using compounding, cutting, buffing, and polishing techniques, our paint correction packages will uncover lost value, restore pride in your vehicle, and help maintain it as a valuable investment rather than an unsightly liability. The three vehicle paint correction packages that we bring our valued customers come with unique, restorative methods that stand out from competing services in the area.
Stop simmering angrily about such minor defects - task us with removing them completely from your memory and your finish. Don’t forget that these paint correction packages are also highly recommended as a prequel to having one of our hydrophobic ceramic coatings or self-healing and self-cleaning paint protection films installed on your automobile.
Swirl Marks/Spider Webbing
Swirl marks are also known as ‘spider webbing’ in that they appear to be spider webs scattered across your vehicle’s finish when light reflects off of it. These are nothing more than circular minor scratches brought about by poor washing techniques or abrasive buffing.
Marring
Marring is simply visible surface level scratches. They are usually caused by things like rubbing against a dirty towel, not properly drying your vehicle after washing it, etc.
Etching
Acid rain, sleet, and even bird droppings here in Denver, Colorado leave behind an effect known as etching. These look like little pale pockets scattered all across your finish, often mistaken for dried rainwater or road wash. In reality, they are small beveled marks in your finish’s clear coat that must be removed for perfected vehicle paintwork.
Buffer Marks
These appear to have been inflicted quite aggressively, because more often than not, they have been. When a lackluster detailing shop buffs your paintwork, incorrect techniques leave behind streaky buffer marks, which are surface scratches aligned tightly together. These are recognizable by their pseudo ‘skid mark on the pavement’ look.
In short, yes it is. At Elevated Auto Protection, we see quite a few brand new vehicles roll into our shop, with dissatisfied drivers behind the wheel looking for answers to their swirly and etched finish. Whether they are cruising in a high-end sports car or a simple Sedan, they spent their hard-earned money on a brand new vehicle and have noticed just how imperfect their paint is.
It may appear that this concept is unusual; why would a new car be damaged? But the fact of the matter is, dealerships are rather reckless with their inventory, hand washing the exterior ruthlessly or sending it through their abrasive and unkempt local car wash before aggressively polishing it with unsafe methods. You are not alone, and here at Elevated Auto Protection, your ride stands a chance at being truly new!
Correcting the paint of a brand new automobile uncovers hidden value, and starting off new car ownership with more than you did after signing the paperwork on the lot is a highly beneficial characteristic of new vehicle paint correction.
